Inkling Generator: A Well of Tiny Poems

Tucked quietly at the bottom of each page of this site is something I made for whimsy and mainly my own personal amusement: the Inkling Generator.

It’s meant to listen to the reader. Take a cleansing breath and click with intention on the Summon Inkling button. Up from the inkwell you’ll pull a haiku-like mini poem. A quick glimpse of mood, moment, and maybe meaning. I just gave it a refresh with a handful of new ones.

You can find it here or by scrolling to the bottom of the page. Tap “summon new inkling” as many times as you’d like, but beware, the magic is only in the first click. So I invite you to draw from the well, and let the bucket dip quietly back for the next summoner.
