The Evergreen Inkwell: Cultivating Seeds of Expression
Welcome to The Evergreen Inkwell, a space for creative exploration through the quiet magic of the natural world.
Here, writing is both rooted and untamed, drawing from the rhythms of nature, the weight of memory, and the sparks of inspiration that whisper when you least expect them.
This blog intertwines poetry and prose with practical thoughts and suggestions for your own garden and what it yields, along with reflections on the writing life.
Whether you’re here for the gardening and tea articles, hints of the novel I’m writing, or simply to explore and connect creatively through the written word—you’re in the right place.
If something here speaks to you, I hope you’ll stay awhile. The kettle’s always on and the inkwell never runs dry.
Love,

Curious what’s taking root behind the scenes?
A psychological thriller is taking shape, unfolding alongside ongoing explorations of creativity and connection. Here’s what’s coming next.
The upcoming novel is a cat-and-mouse thriller about a serial killer on the loose, and an artist’s mission to take them down. Woven with prophetic dreams and waking uncertainty, the mystery tightens its grip as a freelance photographer stumbles upon a strange live feed, drawn in by its peculiar host. Mysterious disappearances haunt the edges of her reality, pulling her deeper into a truth she can’t untangle. The deeper she goes, the more the lines blur between the digital world and her ever-distorting waking life until she’s forced to confront the only thing more elusive than the killer: herself.

Beyond the novel, the blog continues to evolve with stories of creative process, shared artistry, and the philosophy of simplicity. Keep an eye out for two upcoming series, Kindred Creators and Meditations on a Simple, arriving in the coming weeks.
